Internship

If you are looking for an invaluable experience that you can utilize in just about any career, a desire to provide service to the citizens of Pennsylvania and enhance your resume, then an internship in the office of Senator Mike Brubaker is for you.  Working out of the Senator’s district office, interns will focus on assisting the district office staff in areas of constituent relations, constituent outreach, communications and various other tasks as determined.  Interns can also expect some exposure to the Senator’s office in Harrisburg where they will have a "shadow day", getting a first hand look at what happens in Harrisburg.   

• You will handle constituent problems/concerns and refer problems/concerns to the proper agency/Senate staff member.

• You will prepare correspondence; procure copies of legislation and/or other state-related documents or information requested by constituents.

• You will assist with various outreach projects.

• Spend a day in Harrisburg with Senator Mike Brubaker and get a unique view of what really happens in Harrisburg.
