Pennsylvania Fair Guide Available at Senator Brubaker's District Office

HARRISBURG – State Senator Mike Brubaker (R-36) announced today that free copies of the 2007 Pennsylvania Fairs Guide are now available at his district office in Ephrata.

The guide, which is issued every year, lists more than 100 county and local fairs being held across Pennsylvania this year, and also includes contact names and numbers for many fairs.

"There are four agricultural fairs in the 36th District alone in September and October, and seven across Lancaster County," said Brubaker. "These fairs provide a fun, inexpensive and educational experience that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, and they are also a great way to learn about agriculture."

The guide also includes a harness racing schedule for fairs that include this activity, as well as rules for racing.

The 2007 Pennsylvania Fairs Booklet is available at Brubaker's district office at 1248 W. Main Street, Ephrata.

"I encourage all of my constituents to stop by to pick up a Fair Guide, and to take the time to enjoy a fair this year and support Pennsylvania agriculture," Brubaker said.
