Senator Brubaker to hold municipal roundtable in eastern Lancaster County

Meetings with local officials encourage open communication

EPHRATA – State Senator Mike Brubaker (R-36) will be holding a roundtable discussion with representatives of Brecknock, Caernarvon, East Cocalico, East Earl and Earl Townships as well as New Holland and Terre Hill Boroughs on Friday, June 15, at Yoder's Restaurant in New Holland.

"These meetings are very valuable to everyone who participates because they give us the opportunity to ask questions and air concerns," Brubaker said. "In this way, I can better understand the way in which the activities of the General Assembly affect local governments and the issues that they are facing."

Brubaker began his roundtable series in March, and will continue to hold roundtables with all municipalities in the 36th District over the next several months.

"I truly believe that we are creating the foundation for a solid working relationship through these roundtables, and I am looking forward to meeting the other local officials in the 36th District," Brubaker said. "Of course, I encourage any of the municipalities in the District to contact my office at anytime if they need assistance or if they would like to discuss any matter with me."
