Brubaker Urges District Residents to Volunteer for Meals on Wheels 

HARRISBURG – Senator Mike Brubaker (R-36) is urging district residents to help feed needy local senior citizens by volunteering at one of Lancaster County’s chapters of the Meals on Wheels Association of America.  

The Meals on Wheels Association of America distributes meals to the homes of vulnerable individuals through the use of volunteers. Information on local Meals on Wheels programs is available by contacting Brubaker’s district office in Lititz at (717) 627-0036 or by visiting the association’s website at www.mowaa.org. 

"Our local Meals on Wheels programs do a tremendous job of helping the elderly and disabled, but additional help is needed to provide service to all local residents who are in need," Brubaker said. "I would encourage individuals to offer their time and efforts to make a difference in the lives of older Lancaster County residents by volunteering today."
